Europe's Balentien and Zeid in the 2017 All-WBC team

Wladimir Balentien and Josh Zeid have been named in the 2017 World Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team.

The Dutch slugger was brilliant, hitting for ,615 with four home-runs and twelve runs batted in. Israel's pitcher was nearly unhittable, throwing ten scoreless innings, striking out ten and only allowing five hits.

Other stars on the All-WBC team are catcher Molina, first base Eric Hosmer, second base Javier Baez, third base Carlos Correa, short-stop Francisco Lindor, outfielders Gregory Polanco and Christian Yelich, designated hitter Carlos Beltran and pitchers Kodai Senga and Marcus Stroman. The latter was named 2017 WBC Most Valuable Player.
