Pitch In For Baseball Equipment
What:
P.I.F.B. is an American organisation (in Ambler, Pennsylvania USA) that aims to bring new or gently used baseball equipment to underserved communities around the world. In 2007 P.I.F.B. and CEB concluded a cooperation agreement. Every year a number of starter kits for youth and adults will be provided for the European countries. In 2008 CEB received 50 starter kits (containing gloves, helmets, bats, balls, bases etc) which were delivered to the 15 federations that sent in their request to receive a number of starter kits.
Season:
Applications can be send throughout the whole year. Equipment for 2011 is short but will be distributed among all applicants as soon as available.
Costs:
None – but you need to fulfil the following requirements after receipt:
(1) put PIFB logo & link on your federation’s website
(2) arrange a press release about the donation and use of the equipment, publish it on your federation’s website and send it together with some pictures to CEB
Remark:
