NATIONAL TEAM COMPETITIONS 2010

 

Please note that the C.E.B organizes following National team competitions in 2010 for which we give you herewith the latest information. Updates will follow.

EURO 2010 – EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SENIORS.
23rd July till 1st August in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg in Germany.
Qualified teams are:
Group 1 Group 2
1. Netherlands 1. Great Britain
2. Germany 2. Spain
3. France 3. Sweden
4. Ukraine 4. Italy
5. Czech Republic 5. Croatia
6. Belgium 6. Greece
 
Game schedule 1st round:
1st day 5-1,4-2,3-6 - 2nd day 1-3,2-5,6-4 - 3rd day 1-4,2-6,3-5
4th day 1-2,3-4,5-6 - 5th day 2-3,6-1,4-5
 
On the day 6th of the competition, the 4th, 5th and 6th classified in each group will play one game 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6 to decide the final ranking from position 7th to 12th.
 
The top three teams of each group will form a new group and play a single round-robin, three games, in three consecutive days starting at day 7th. The results of the former games between the three teams of the same group are valid.
 
1st day A1-B2, A2-B3, A3-B1
2nd day B1-A2, B2-A3, B3-A1
3rd day A1-B1, A2-B2, A3-B3
 
At the end of this phase for the teams classified 3rd to 6th the standing is final. The top two teams will play the final game on Sunday 1st August 2010.
 
 
 
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 21 & UNDER.
18th August till 22nd August 2010 in Brno, Czech Republic.
 
 
 
Qualified teams are:
Group 1 Group 2
1. Italy 1. Netherlands
2. Russia 2. France
3. Germany 3. Spain
4. Ukraine 4. Czech Republic
 
Game schedule:
1st day 1-4, 2-3 2nd day 3-1, 4-2 3rd day 1-2, 3-4
4th day Cross finals & 3rd – 4th 5th day Finals & 3rd – 4th.
 
 
QUALFIER EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP JUNIORS
C.E.B. received requests to organize from following Federations:
 
Antwerp, Belgium – Trnava/Bratislava, Slovakia – Attnang Puchheim, Austria – Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria
 
Awarding of the site(s) will be done in the first week of December.
 
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP CADETS
19th till 24th July 2010 in Eindhoven, Netherlands
Qualified teams are:
Group 1 Group 2
1. Italy 1. Russia
2. Netherlands 2. Czech Republic
3. Germany 3. Austria
4. Belgium 4. Bulgaria
 
Game schedule:
1st day 1-4, 2-3 2nd day 3-1, 4-2 3rd day 1-2, 3-4
4th day is rest day. 5th day Cross finals & 3rd – 4th
6th day Finals & 3rd – 4th.
 
QUALIFIER EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP CADETS
The organization of this qualifier is awarded to the Swedish Federation.
If there are more than 6 participants the groups will split.
The 2nd Organizer will be Belgrad, Serbia
Date of event will be in July 2010.
 
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP JUVENILES
The organization of this qualifier is awarded to the Czech Baseball Federation.
Date of event will be in July or August 2010.
