EC U15: Netherlands wins Title in Czech Republic

The Netherlands have won the U15 European Championship, which was held in Jablonec and Liberec, Czech Republic last week. The Dutch team cruised through the tournament undefeated, prevailing 10-5 against Germany in the championship game on Saturday. Russia ended up in third place after a 7-2 victory over host Czech Republic. The Czech team had lost 4-15 to Germany in the semi-finals on Friday. The Netherlands had defeated Russia 11-1 to reach the final. Max Draijer was named MVP, Taylor Clemensia best batter and Max Schuttle (all three Netherlands) best pitcher.
