BC Zagreb wins Croatian Cup

It was the twentieth Cup Finals that was played last weekend in Karlovac. And who better to mark the occasion then the two teams with the most Cup titles, BC Olimpija and BC Zagreb.
The game started with two nervous errors by Olimpija's young player in the first inning, and BC Zagreb scored a run. After that the game became the clash of the pitchers. Slobodan Gales for Olimpija, and Ernesto Pereira for the Zagreb team didn't allow any serious attack by both teams' hitters. It took eight innings for the game to take the turn to Zagreb's side. Zagreb offence had 5 hits and scored 3 runs to take the significant lead. Olimpija managed to score the run in the 9th inning, and game ended 5-1 for BC Zagreb and they took the 8th Cup Title.
Michel Čurić was woted the best hitter with 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Ernesto Pereira took both the best pitcher, and MVP title, finishing the game with ERA 0,00 , and 8 SO's.
