France U21 Champion

Last Sunday 29th the National Team of France won the final game versus Ukraine and took the title of European Champion U21.
 
The tournament was very well organized by the Czech Federation. Eight teams competed on high level of European Baseball from 25th till 29th July. A video of the opening ceremony can we watched here: www.youtube.com/watch
 
Due to a thunderstorm the final had to be postponed for more than two hours. Attached photos were taken at the Draci Brno field at game time. The groundscrew in Brno and Trebic were amazing and it was a big achievement to be able to play all games and the final game after all.

The future of the competitions for this age group for 2013 and 2014 are depending of the decisions of the IBAF. IBAF intends to start a World Championship U21 in 2014. If so than CEB will organize a qualifier in 2013.
