Danesi Nettuno won their fourth game in five days to qualify for the European Champions Cup Final Four. They defeated the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg 8-1 on Sunday, got on the bus and drove all the way back to Italy. According to reports from Rotterdam Nettuno is ready to host the Final Four tournament, which has no site as of now. In their final game Danesi needed until the fourth inning to break 20-year-old Jonathan Eisenhuth with three runs en route to the win. Five runs in the eighth blew the game open. Giuseppe Mazzanti went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Ricardo Hernandez and Yovany D’Amico kept the German champion in check. D’Amico dominated with four scoreless innings of no-hit relief. Eisenhuth threw a whopping, if not irresponsible 155 pitches in 7 2/3 innings, allowing ten hits, seven runs and eight walks.

Bert and Maxime Lefevre had five of the nine RBI. Luc Piquet scored three times. Michal Koci was charged with the loss.
